Education & Trainingin the worldwide BVL-Network
Our nearly 10,000 members wish to share their experience and advance the development of logistics.
This aspiration led to the establishment of BVL Seminars, which, as part of the BVL,
has been helping to develop skills and expand expertise for over 30 years.
Established event formats such as "The World in Focus" facilitate knowledge transfer and networking
at an international level through the BVL’s many chapters and representatives.
At home in Logistics
BVL seminars are aimed at young professionals and experienced professionals who wish to deepen or expand their specialist knowledge in logistics, customs and foreign trade. As a leading specialist provider of professional development, the BVL offers over 50 seminars and certificate courses across Germany for experienced specialists and managers. With a mix of experienced experts and practitioners as speakers, participants not only acquire in-depth knowledge but also put it into practice directly through numerous interactive elements.
All training formats can be flexibly integrated into everyday working life:
- The digital seminars are short, intensive learning modules that take place online and enable participants to acquire new knowledge quickly and effectively at work or at home.
- In addition, the BVL offers specialised seminars on topics such as supply chain management, transport, customs and artificial intelligence.
- The certificate courses offer the unique opportunity to bundle individual seminars from specific subject areas – with an optional final examination for some topics. The certificates obtained attest to comprehensive expertise and significantly improve career prospects. The BVL’s individual in-house training courses are specifically tailored to the needs of companies. These bespoke training courses enable employees to be trained in a targeted manner and to develop new skills together.

Team of Experts
Quality guaranteed
The “World in Focus” event format has been established to make the BVL network accessible to international chapters and representatives, along with their respective countries and regions. Held as an online lunch break and live on the Supply Chain CX, it addresses current global developments in business, geopolitics and logistics, in contrast to the numerous events organised by regional groups. At the same time, it provides a space for exchange and networking – both at local and global levels.
